Simply Elegant now offers a nationwide shipment program on select linens.
Please read the following FAQ's:
When does it ship?
Rentals are shipped the week before the event to arrive no later than the Wednesday on the week of the event.
When do I return the items?
The items must be shipped on the Monday following the event, no exceptions! Linens are considered late after the Wednesday
following the event. You may ship Ground as long as the guaranteed arrival date is by that Wednesday. Please check with your
chosen shipping carrier to make sure your package will arrive back to us in time. You may have to ship 2nd Day Air if your state is
not close to Texas. This could get costly up to $150 to $200 for large orders. (linens are heavy)
Who pays for shipping?
Simply Elegant will pay for ground shipping only, on orders with at least a 30 day notice. We will pay 1/2 of ground shipping on
orders received at least 14 days before the shipping date. Last minute orders will receive no assistance with shipping costs.
Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the client.
Do you ship Overnight, 2nd Day Air, or 3 Day Select?
Yes, we will. If your items are in stock and available, we will ship the same day if the order is placed by noon, Central time. There is
a $50 Rush order fee added to the shipping costs.
How much does it cost to ship back to you?
We can give you the estimated weight of the package and return shipping costs before you place your order. We can include it in
your quote. We would need the zip code and the exact number of items you intend to order, so we can calculate weight.
When do I pay for shipping?
Rental fees are billed up front, and shipping fees (for orders within 14 days of your event) are placed on your credit card the day we
send the package. You pay for your return shipping fees through your chosen carrier. It is very easy to use Office Depot, Staples, Fed
Ex Kinkos, or visit their websites to find an authorized agent or store for package drop offs. You may also go online or call a shipping
carrier to schedule a pickup.
Can you handle the return shipment for me?
Yes, Simply Elegant will handle the return shipment for you for a convenience fee of $5.00. We will schedule the pickup for you and
charge the shipping charges to your credit card. It is imperative that the items be ready, properly labeled and ready for pickup at the
correct location.
What areas do you ship to?
We will ship to anywhere in the continental U.S. No shipments to Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, or International Countries.

What is your deposit and payment policy?
A 50% Non Refundable deposit is required on orders with chair covers, sashes, polyester, shiny satin, and organza linens, Final
payment and changes are due 2 weeks prior to the event. You may remove, change or substitute items on your order with a 14 day
notice of the shipping date. (This is about three weeks before the event) To make significant changes to your order (like cutting your
numbers by 30% or more, we need a 30 day notice of the shipping date.
The shipping date is considered to be 10 days prior to the event, but could be different if you are closer to Texas. Your shipping date
could be 6 or 7 days prior to your event, if we can ship via ground service and your items arrive by the Wednesday before your event.
100% up front payment is required for Specialty Linen orders with Lamour, Crushed Satin , Damask, or Pintuck items.
We do not ship Velvet or Ribbon Taffeta linens. You cannot remove items from Specialty Linen orders, but you can add items with a
14 day notice. If you are unsure of the quantity you will need, you can order low and always add later.
In addition to your rental order total, we will place a temporary hold for 30% of the order on the day it is shipped, which is refundable
if the items are returned on time and without damages. If the order is late, daily rental rates apply. You will be refunded the
difference once all items have been laundered and carefully inspected. Please allow up to 7 days from the date we receive the
items back from you to receive your final bill or credit. If items are not received within 3 days from the due date, the client will be
billed for the replacement value of the items, no exceptions.
Do you offer refunds?
ALL PAYMENTS NON REFUNDABLE .
The following circumstance would be eligible for a full or partial refund:
*If we made a mistake and we were unable to send a suitable or similar replacement in time.
It is extremely important to review all emails, correspondence, quotes and invoices that you receive from Simply Elegant to ensure
that we are "on the same page" and have your order correct in our system. We will ship your order exactly how it reads on the order.
No exceptions. If we do that, then it is on you if there is a mistake. An example of a suitable replacement would be an item of the
same color, but a different fabric of equal or more value. If we made a mistake, we would not send you an item of lesser value with
no refund. We would refund the difference in the value in that case, if no other options were available last minute.
Tip- the more times you change your order, there is a higher chance your order could be incorrect, is is very difficult to maintain an
accurate count if the order is changed every week leading up the event. PLEASE DON'T DO THIS.
What information is needed to place an order?
A valid credit card must be kept on file.
We require a faxed order form with actual signature to accompany your online order
We also require a copy of your drivers license, one personal reference, and your work, home and cell phone number.
Simply Elegant is glad to be offering a nationwide linen rental service, but it does place our company at risk, so the policies will
differ slightly than to those renting locally.
Can I make changes to the order?
Changes must be received within 14 days of the ship date. (the Monday of the week of the event) After that, items may be added if
they are available, but we cannot make any guarantees of availability after that date.
Are the linens wrinkled?
Simply Elegant makes every effort to ensure the finest quality and look to our customers. We cannot guarantee that the items will
arrive without wrinkles, due to the shipping process, and no refunds will be issued for that reason.
What if they do not arrive in time?
We are also not responsible if the items do not arrive in time, as that is out of our hands. The client assumes the risks involved in
the shipping process.
What if they do not arrive at all?
We will ship your order to arrive on a Wednesday, which allows two days to track down the package or arrange a second delivery
attempt, if you were not there when the first attempt is made. It is highly recommended that you or a loved one be off work and at
home or their place of business so that UPS or Fed EX can deliver the package on the first attempt. We will also include a telephone
number on the package. There are no refunds on your rental if the package does not arrive.
What if the package is lost altogether?
Simply Elegant will purchase additional insurance for the replacement value of the contents of the each box. (UPS only covers $100
dollars worth, unless you purchase extra insurance) Simply Elegant will charge you for the full replacement value of the items, and
when we receive our money from the claim, you will receive your money back for the replacement fees, and not the rental total.
Again, the client assumes the risks. You must file a claim with the shipping carrier to seek compensation.
What if I receive the wrong color or style?
When your shipment arrives, please call us immediately if you did not receive the order that matches your paperwork, and we will
overnight a replacement shipment to you, at our expense, IF WE ARE AT FAULT.
If Simply Elegant is not at fault, and we shipped what you ordered, then we will do our best to send a replacement shipment if the
items are available. The client will be responsible for the rental and shipping fees for the additional rentals, and you cannot
substitute them for the items you ordered wrongly, expecting a credit or with the idea that you will not pay for the additional items.
I'm worried about the chair covers fitting and colors matching, what should I do?
It is highly recommended that you order swatches of your linens ahead of time or rent a few full size pieces 30-60 days before the
event to try them on your chair or table and ensure the fit and color is correct. Banquet and Folding Chair Covers are very specific in
size, and they cannot be interchanged. You cannot use the wrong chair cover on your chair, because they will stretch, rip or get foot
traffic damage if they are too large, and you will be charged for repair or replacement fees.
Why are these rules so strict?
In the rental business, rental dates and reservations or the heart of our business. When you reserve an item, we tell all other clients
that those items are reserved for a particular date. Therefore, we must have advance notice if you need to change your order. We
cannot refund money, or substitute items for this reason. We could not stay in business without these policies.
Planning ahead is essential to having a stress free and enjoyable event.
Can I take advantage of Monthly Specials?
Specials do not apply to out of town rental shipments
What is your guarantee for quality?
Simply Elegant takes pride in the quality of our rental items, and we do not ship items that are stained, dirty, ripped, snagged or
noticeably in poor condition. However, most of our items (chair covers and poly linens) are used every week and do show slight
wear, such as tiny black marks on the edges of a some of our chair covers, tiny spots, discrepancies or irregularities in the fabric.
Each item is laundered, pressed, inspected and hung before packaging for a shipment. 90%of our items look brand new, but we
cannot guarantee every item will be brand new. This is the nature of the rental business. We do guarantee that the item will look
nice and will not have damages or noticeable issues that would cause them to be unsuitable for use. If we charged every customer
for the slightest little thing, then no one could afford to rent, because every order is returned with some sort of minor discrepancy.
Therefore, please remember our tolerance policy and realize that it benefits you too, before you call us complaining of an imperfect
item. If you do, then we will do our best to replace that particular item, and you will be charged for any slight damage big or small
upon return of your items.
